These flashlights can be used in areas where an ignitable concentration of combustable fibres and "flyings" exist under normal operating conditions.

Such fibres and "flyings" in this intrinsically safe light classification include, but are not limited to: 
Metal flyings from machined magnesium, and/or fibres from wood, paper, cotton and other textiles.
