These flashlights can be used in areas where an ignitable concentration of combustable dusts exist only under abnormal operating conditions.

Such dusts in this Intrinsically Safe light classification include, but are not limited to: 
Metal dusts such as aluminum and magnesium. Carbonaceous dusts such as coal, charcoal and coke. Other types of dust such as wood, plastics, flour, starch and chemical dusts.
